Joan of arkansas print series
For my final project for my printmaking II and digital drawing class this winter, I built upon the imagery I had developed that imagines Joan of Arc in a modern American setting. Throughout the process, I was informed by my own experiences growing up in the Bible Belt and curiosity about the intersection of beauty and religious standards on young girls. I then combined printmaking techniques to explore the connection between print and digital design in my work.
